We initially supported this Client in achieving Planning & Listed Building Consent for a two-storey extension to their Grade II Listed Building in the centre of Princes Risborough, also located within the Conservation Area. Following this, the Client sought full Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for a new dwelling on the site via another practice, but their application was refused on four grounds (highways, drainage, design and heritage). 

Having received this decision, the Client subsequently re-instructed this practice to seek a solution. It was clear that a revised submission could resolve all four previous reasons for refusal, and following negotiation with the Local Authority we successfully achieved the necessary permissions for the new dwelling, overcoming all four reasons for refusal.

It is considered that the proposed development would accord with the development plan policies whereby previous reasons for refusal under 18/07835/FUL and 18/07836/LBC have been addressed.
