About

Reserved Matters permission was granted following an outline planning permission for 8 individually designed dwellings to replace the original farm buildings, which have more recently been used for equestrian purposes.

The project's success was dependent upon first obtaining a Lawful Development Certificate for equestrian use, following which an outline planning permission was submitted and negotiated with the SODC Planning Department.

Our Client originally wanted to build the scheme out himself, and with the assistance of local agents, Hamnett Hayward, each of the 8 dwellings were individually designed to maximise the site value.

After gaining permission, there was so much interest generated from local developers, that our client put the site on the market.

Following the sale of the site, we worked together with the purchaser, Lucy Developments. We fine-tuned the development to meet their needs under a Section 73 application and dealt with the following Building Regulations and construction stages.

The development is currently under construction and the properties are up for sale.

...Overall, a high-quality design is proposed, using appropriate materials and building forms which take proper account of the rural context of the site...
