About

We have acted for the  West Wycombe Shooting Ground (Sir Edward Dashwood) from the original conception when the site was a County Council Waste Tip.

We firstly obtained a temporary planning permission to enable the Wycombe District Council to monitor the noise emissions over a three year period. Following this we succeeded in obtaining a permanent planning permission for the shooting ground including the first phase of a log cabin shooting lodge.

Since then we have been successful in securing a series of planning permissions, the last being a two storey addition to the lodge to include administrative offices and a pro-shop.

Our senior partner is a keen shot himself and enjoyed dealing with this project which involved negotiations with the police firearms department in respect of the design of a safe layout. The various phases of the log cabin were imported from Norway on a low-loader and erected on site by the Scottish importer of Norlog Buildings.
